Extra Muddy, Extra Mad - Mud
Madness November 2008
Sunday 16
November 2008 saw the return
of Mud Madness to Foymore
Lodge, and what an event!
Who could think of a better
way to spend a beautiful,
sunny November afternoon,
than to get wet and muddy
from top to toe whilst
running a 4km dash through
ponds, bog land, drains and
ditches. Some 300
entrants took up the
challenge risking life, limb
and beauty for this
adventurous day out in the
countryside -
congratulations to them all!
The official charity for the
day was Marie Curie who were
on hand offering much
welcomed refreshments
following the event. For
more details and pictures
about the event, visit the
website at

The Long Awaited
Straightening of the 'Rabbit
Run'
This month, history was made
at Foymore Lodge Country
Pursuits, with the long
awaited straightening of the
'Rabbit Run,' otherwise
known as the 'Mini Sporting'
layout. This fast and
furious layout, consisting
of 24 targets, shot over 4
stands proved elusive for
many but not so for local
clay pigeon shooter Richard
Knipe. In an outstanding
display of shooting
excellence he determinedly
straightened all 24
targets. The team at
Foymore Lodge congratulate
Richard in this fantastic
achievement!
