I
don't have my own firearm and have never shot before. Can I
still try clay pigeon shooting?

Yes. If you are
18 years old or over and not a prohibited person under the Firearms
Northern Ireland Order 2004, you can book a beginners session with Foymore
Lodge. One of our instructors will take you through basic gun
safety and have you breaking clays within a few shots.

I am
interested in trying clay pigeon shooting. Do I have to be
part of a group on can I come alone and is it necessary to book?

Clay pigeon shooting is
available to individuals or groups. Anyone who does not have
their own firearm and firearms certificate must book in advance.

Can I
bring along my own air rifle?

|
No. The range
facility at Foymore Lodge is specifically for school guns only.

If I
have arranged clay pigeon shooting / multi activities and the
weather is wet, is this a problem?
|

|
No. All of our
layouts are under cover, with the exception of the 50 bird sporting
and access to all layouts is via concreted pathways. We would
advise that warm over clothing be brought.

Can I
bring my own cartridges?

Yes. You can bring along
your own cartridges to Foymore Lodge provided they are
Fibre Wad, as the ground is restricted to Fibre Wad only.

Can I
use my own 4x4 vehicle on the off road course at Foymore Lodge?

|
No. Insurance
restrictions state that only Foymore Lodge vehicles may be used on
the course.
